I have AA amyloid and have been in the trial since 2002. I see Dr. Merrill Benson at Indiana University Medical Center in Indy.. When I first started on the study, I was really sick. I have been on the transplant list for a kidney since 2003. My creatinine numbers have stabilized to where I am currently on hold on the list...and still not on dialysis. I have no source for my amyloidosis....my body just produces inflammation on its own. Do you know what is causing your amyloid?
