Vicki was born on December 31, 1948 in Montreal, QC, the only child of Edward and Jennie Warren. The Warren's moved to Calgary in Calgary in 1963 and settled in the Kingsland area. Following her graduation in 1966 from Henry Wisewood High School, she attended the University of Calgary. Upon earning her Bachelor of Education degree, Vicki dedicated the next thirty-three years teaching Junior High English and French for the Calgary Catholic School Board. She retired from Father James Whelihan School in 2002. Ms. Warren will be remembered as a dedicated, well liked and respected teacher. Her love of music – especially Pavarotti, and her love of politics were second to none. A highlight for Vicki was meeting Pavarotti and Pierre Elliott Trudeau in person. Her love of reading along with managing her own stock portfolio was a source of great enjoyment for Vicki, particularly during her retirement years. If a topic interested her, she delved into it with great enthusiasm and dedication. Vicki will be remembered for her kindness, dignity and poise. Vicki is survived by her mother Jennie and was predeceased by her father Edward. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and, of course, her fluff ball of a dog, Miji.
