Steven Claude Lee, 59, passed away December 1, 2015, after a 9-month battle with Amyloidosis caused by Multiple Myeloma. He was born October 3, 1956 in Oxnard, California. He attended and graduated from Rio Mesa High School. His other achievements include: Eagle Scout, Air Force NCO Leadership School Honor Graduate, Labor Leader of the Year 1993, past president Lompoc Community Labor Coalition and past president of the Lompoc Democratic Club. Steve was a long-time local surfer, political, community and environmental activist.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lee, his parents, James and Gloria Lee, his two sons, Daryl and Brian Lee, two sisters and one brother, Jo Anne Mathews, Debbie Lee and Jimmy Lee. Other survivors include two grandsons and numerous nephews and nieces..
