| Roman Hernandez was born in Havana , Cuba on May 10, 1961. He moved with the family to USA when he was 9. He passed away after year of very difficult struggle in August 18,2019 in Miami, FL from AL type rapidly progressing amyloidosis, which led to total organ failure. The disease was diagnosed only in 6 months , as his fatigue was attributed to neuroendocrine tumor he had in pancreas, which was successfully removed. He left behind three children Nataly, Daniel, Genrik, two grandchildren, Garik and Alex and loving wife Karina. He was devoted husband, father, great man of faith and dedicated professional, serving for 30 years in VA medical center in Miami. His memory will be always alive in the hearts of family members, friends and colleagues. |
