Patricia Marie Seelinger, 61 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her home.

Patty was born December 3, 1954 in Merwin, Missouri daughter of John Lincoln Aleshire and Mary Virginia (Stitt) Aleshire. She spent her early years in Merwin and attended high school in Butler. She was united in marriage to Gerald D. Seelinger on July 9, 1971 in Paola, Kansas. Due to her husband’s Air Force career, the couple resided all over the world. Upon Jerry’s retirement from the Air Force, the couple made their home in Carnegie, Oklahoma. They moved to Warrensburg in 2001. Patty was a member of Warrensburg Church of Christ. She was Past President of American Legion, Post #131 Auxiliary. Her hobbies included writing, pen paling, reading, country music, and collecting stickers.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; two daughters: Jennifer Seelinger and Tiffany Seelinger, both of Warrensburg; son: Ryan Seelinger of Port Mugu Naval Air Station, CA; mother: Mary Miller of Sedalia; father: John Aleshire of Brighton, MO; sister: Mary Lynn Aleshire of Warrensburg and two granddaughters: Chloe Dee Michelle Bigger and Hailey Grace Florence. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carolyn Aleshire.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 28th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Jeff Kenee officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
