On July 3, 2013, after a lengthy but valiant battle with Amyloidosis, Patricia Moseley died at her home in Washington, D.C. surrounded by her three children. Born in Washington, DC, but grew up in New York and attended NYU, Pat returned to the DC area in 1970 with her young family. She was a lover of nature and the performing arts and played a key executive role at the Maryland Youth Ballet for several decades. Professionally, Ms. Moseley was a recently retired environmental consultant from ICF International in Washington, DC. Prior to ICF, Ms. Moseley worked for Defenders of Wildlife as well as The Nature Conservancy. In her retirement, she taught math to elementary students in the DC Public School system. Pat is survived by her three children, Lisa Chappell of Catonsville, MD, Sean Moseley of Elverson, PA and Scott Moseley of Washington, DC; and six grandchildren, Catherine, Robert, Kate, Tess, Iris and Peyton.
