moved to Walled Lake, Mich., where she spent much of her childhood. Kathy graduated from Walled Lake High School in 1964. After graduating, Kathy met and married John Bruneel, with whom she spent more than 48 years. Kathy was a Navy wife who maintained a home for her family throughout the United States and overseas. Kathy worked in retail sales as a clerk and later on became a nursing assistant. In 2007, Kathy and John moved to Bangor.In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence and Daniel Rakowski. She is survived by her husband, John Bruneel; daughter, Michelle Pinette and her husband, Joey; son, John Bruneel, Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole, Andrew and Sara Pinette and Andrew Sawyer; brothers, Patrick, Joseph and Robert; and her sisters, Shirley, Mary, Carole, and Christine.
