Countless lives have been forever changed because of the ministry opportunities led by "Mr. Chip". He had this incredible gift to see the God given gifts in everyone. He spent most of his life investing in students and showing them how to use their talents to serve God. Because of His love for people and his heart to tell them about God, we find peace in knowing that his legacy will live on way beyond this generation.
He held many titles in his life, but the one that he was most proud of is "Papa". He loved spending time with his grandkids and was very proud of all of their accomplishments. Mackinly, Taylor Anne, Trenton, Hilary, John Charles, and Ava- may you always know how much you are loved. He is cheering you on from heaven and reminding you to "run the race with endurance."

He is survived by his loving wife, Clella Dickey; sisters Charlotte Clifton, Leslie Allen; brother Tony Dickey; children Christy and David Aguillard, John Charles and Amanda Dickey III, Candace and Chase Atwood, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
