EILEEN M. KNOERZER (NEE DEAKIN) BLOOMINGTON, IL Eileen M. Knoerzer (Deakin), 60, a resident of Bloomington, IL, formerly of Algonquin, IL, passed away October 14, 2012. Eileen was born in Hammond, IN on March 24, 1952 to the late Joseph and Emma Deakin (Barragree). She is survived by her beloved husband, Geoffrey M. Knoerzer, whom she married on September 6, 1969. Eileen is also survived by her brother, Joseph (Regina) Deakin of Shererville, IN; loving children: Geoffrey Knoerzer, Jr., Jennifer (James) Magnelli, and Christopher Knoerzer; and her two grandsons: Mario Magnelli and Anthony Magnelli. Eileen was very active within the community at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus and Prevent Child Abuse America. She enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people, spend time with family and friends, travel on cruises, and vacation in Ixtapa, Mexico. Her continued interest in reading has had a strong influence on her grandsons. She enjoyed the opportunity to dance and celebrate life through her friendships. Eileen will be missed by her Best Friend and Beloved Husband of 43 years. She continued to support the Chicago Cubs for a World Series Pennant
