Diane Marie Hummell went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 after a long battle with Amyloidosis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Boughton; and her sister, Kathy Jo Boughton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Randy E. Hummell; children, Robert Hummell and Barbara Burkett (Brian); grandchildren, Ellise, Alexis and Isabelle Hummell and a baby boy, Burkett, who is due in May; her mother, Margaret Boughton; brothers, Rene and Kevin Boughton; nephew, Nathan Boughton; and niece, Kelly Boughton.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, scrapbooking memories, photography, genealogy, gardening, sewing and cross stitching, line dancing, exercising, berry and apple picking, traveling, hiking, camping with the kids when they were young and baking treats for their friends. She was known as the neighborhood "Betty Crocker." When her children were young, she volunteered and was a substitute teacher at Louisa County Public Schools. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. -
