Lonergan, Clint 65
July 26, 1950 May 06, 2016
Clint was born July 26, 1950, in New York City to Howard and Laura Lonergan and moved to Portland as a toddler. After graduating from Beaverton High School in 1968, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi and a loyal Husky to the end. Many Saturdays in the fall would find Clint barking with the rest of the Husky Stadium crowd in Seattle. He graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law and practiced law in downtown Portland at Lonergan & Lonergan LLP, first with his father and then with his brother, Rick, for the next 40 years. He married Rael Greenwood July 12, 1980, and they raised two children together, Lesley and Jeff. Clint enjoyed hiking, rafting and climbing, summiting many of the mountains in the Pacific Northwest. There was never a hike too long or a vertical climb too high for Clint. He led his family on many outdoor adventures, including a trip to the North Cascades last summer. Clint was also a wonderful chef and we will miss the fabulous meals he prepared for us. Clint passed away May 6, 2016, after a short battle with amyloidosis. Survivors include his wife, Rael; ahildren, Lesley and Jeff; brothers, Rick (Mary) and Brad; brother-in-law, Pat Greenwood (Bev Warnock); nieces, Kelly Lonergan and Jessica Greenwood Parsons; and nephew, Ryan Greenwood.
