Frank L. Glow, born June 28, 1947 in Buffalo, NY to Edward and Iris Wilson Glow. He was a highly decorated Vietnam War Veteran, and a member of the Army's 82nd Airborne Unit. He enjoyed golfing, photography, bowling, and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, who miss him very much. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maureen McNally Glow, two daughters, Lisa (Rob) Yantz and Krista (Tom) Shamp, and two sons, Frank Glow Jr. and Michael Glow. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Chelsea and Mason McClurg, Melia Yantz, and Shentel Glow and had a new granddaughter on the way, Ella Nicole Shamp. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. Frank and Maureen and their family spent the majority of their time together, and enjoyed doing things as an extended family.
Frank was diagnosed with Primary Amyloidosis in June of 2006 and fought long and hard and was so very strong throughout the illness. He lost the battle on March 8, 2008.
