STOW -- Robert J. (Bob) King, 58, died October 13, 2007.
Born in Akron, he was lifetime area resident, having lived in Cuyahoga Falls prior to moving to Stow in 1988. Bob was currently employed at GFS in Medina, and formerly was the owner of Steakhouse Outlet. He was also a proud US Navy veteran of Vietnam. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son and brother and was the best friend you could want. He was positive, caring, funny and was always the life of the party. He was the person we all asked for advice and aspired to be, and he will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Preceded in death by his father, George William King; he is survived by his wife, Marianne; children, Daniel (fiancée April Boehm) King, Tim (Nicole) King, Tara (Steve) Colopy, Christine (Tim) Jones; grandchildren, Jacob, Madalyn, Bailey, Zoe, Isabelle and Dominic; mother, Jane Wolstenholm; sisters, Mary Jane (Jim) Lamb, Pam (Scott) Billue; and brother, Bill (Pati) King. Friends may call Tuesday 4 to 8 P.M. at Redmon Funeral Home, where Fr. Thomas McCann will conduct services Wednesday 10 A.M.
