Dwight Steven Roebuck, 69, of Verona, N.J., passed away on Jan. 3, 2017. Visitation will be on Sat., Jan. 7, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. Cremation will follow privately. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com.

Born in Plymouth, NC to the late Ralph and Della Roebuck, Dwight proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. While stationed in Madrid, Spain, he met his future wife, Vera Wyman, and they married on July 1, 1972. He has been a Verona resident since 1977. He was a 1984 graduate of NJIT and for the past 10 years, he was an aerospace engineer with Honeywell and Exelis, Clifton, N.J.

Predeceased by his parents, and siblings, Eddie and Sally, he is survived by his wife, Vera; sons, Chris Roebuck, and girlfriend, Mel Callahan, and Ken Roebuck, and wife, Stacy Sanders; grandchildren, Frances and Martin Roebuck; and siblings, Robert, Maurice, James, Eugene, Becky, Samuel, Phillip, Kenneth, and Joyce; and many nieces and nephews.
