Betty Lou Evans Miller, born on July 22, 1942 in Morton, Mississippi, went home to be with her Lord, September 22, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Betty lived in Shenandoah, Texas, north of Houston for 37 years and had many fantastic friendships built in her time there. She will always be remembered for her incredible faith in Jesus, her Savior and for her unbelievable and contagious love for her family and friends. Betty loved the Lord and she loved people. She passed away at M.D. Anderson Hospital, while courageously battling amyloidosis so that she could actively spend more time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.T. Evans and Meredith Rae Evans, her sister Mary and her brother, Louis. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Pierce and her husband, Bo; Faye Skinner and her husband, Eddie; and Lori Hines and her husband Bryan; 9 grandchildren whom she treasured and loved more than anything else in the world; Lisa's children, Meredith, Miller and Matthew; Faye's children, Ryan, Rebekah and Reagan and Lori's children, Taylor, Shelby and Hunter. Betty is survived by her husband of 25 years and the girl's dad, John Miller, her brother and sister, Barbara Keene and James Evans, along with his wife, Mary and numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
