Andrew T. Ratliff 1938 - 2013 Tom passed into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Oct. 20 after a valiant struggle with Cardiac Amyloidosis. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on Sep. 4, 1938 to Gilbert S. & Retta H. Ratliff, both deceased. He spent 4.25 years in the US Navy stationed at the Sanford NAS in 1962. Upon completion of his service he worked at The Winter Park Telephone Co. going through several transitions until he retired in 1993 from Sprint. He also attended what was then Seminole Jr. College. As a former member of the Orange County East Rotary Club he was named a Paul Harris Fellow by his club. He was an avid tennis player a few years back, loved fishing, enjoyed woodworking, cooking and his home; a really funny, fun loving, kind & generous man who loved the Lord, his wife, his family and friends. As a life member of the Whirl & Twirl Square Dance Club, he and his wife danced with and enjoyed knowing some of the finest people around. Steadfast in his faith, he belonged the the Lord and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Ceil; his brother Gene Ratliff, Ft. Lauderdale; his brother-in-law, Dr, John D. Allen, Orlando; his sister-in-law Della (Dewey) Keck, Osgood,IN. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters June Hoyler and Jo Thawley and brothers Gilbert, Ward, James, and Donny Ratliff. He is also survived by his beloved nephews Allen Hall, Randy and Rodger Ratliff, nieces Cindi Owen, Pam Brunck, Pat Morrison, Brenda (Willie) Gee, Kathy Dickman, Goddaughter Maggie Allen, several great nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
